Holy Lama products are made primarily from natural ingredients, avoiding the use of harsh chemicals or synthetics. When possible, sustainable materials are used for packaging. The production process results in less than 1% waste and is used as fuel or animal feed, so the ecological footprint is exceptionally small!

The raw materials used in the production are mainly sourced from local farmers in Kerala and the rest of India, building on established relationships with farmers spanning more than seven decades. The company operates on a no-credit basis, which means that all farmers and raw material suppliers are paid immediately.
