Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. It is found in almost all tissues, especially in the skin, nails, hair, bones and cartilage. After the age of 20, collagen synthesis slows down, which leads to sagging skin, the appearance of the first wrinkles, weakening of hair and nails, and reduced joint mobility.
