Heart-shaped pendant with shungite stone 3.5 cm

Shungite stones are black semi-precious stones that are over 2 billion years old. Shungite is a natural mineral with a crystal lattice organized in a certain way, the main component of which is carbon. Has a unique structure between amorphous (non-crystalline) and rocks.

Shungite is able to absorb polluting particles from the environment and has antibacterial properties. This stone is used to protect against electromagnetic radiation, such as computer screens. It has also been used in medical treatment since the 18th century. Peter I founded the first Russian spa in Karelia and used shungite to purify the water. He also used shungite stone to supply the Russian army with purified water. Antibacterial properties of shungite have been confirmed by modern tests. Shungite cleans water from practically all organic substances, incl. petroleum and pesticides; of many metals and non-metals; bacteria and microorganisms.
