The Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo soap since 1895 using traditional craftsmanship. In the soap factory of the Al Najjar family in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, know-how is passed down from generation to generation. Every year from the end of November to the end of March, the production of the world's first hard soap is repeated using the same, unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months.

Najel Aleppo soap is made exclusively from olive oil and bay tree oil - two selected oils that give it many benefits. Saponified olive oil is a powerful cleanser that nourishes, protects and softens the skin. Good bay oil is known for its disinfecting and restorative properties.

Najeli Aleppo Black Soap with Organic Plant Charcoal, made from traditional 200g soaps with 5% BLO (bay oil), combines the properties of Aleppo soap and charcoal. In Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, charcoal powder has been used for thousands of years to detoxify and cleanse the body. Today, the use of charcoal in cosmetics has become increasingly popular. The organic charcoal used in Najeli Aleppo soap comes from the Indian gooseberry, more commonly known as Amla. Amla is the fruit of the Indian gooseberry tree, which, as the name suggests, is grown in India, as well as in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
