Terminalia arjuna is a huge tree grows wild in many regions of South Asia and particularly in North India. The tree is 20-25 m tall. Leaves are green with pale yellow flowers, appears during September and November. The use of Terminalia Arjuna has been introduced by Vagbhata during 7th century CE.
