Origin and properties of the ingredients
The by-products, such as molasses, originating from the sugar industry, serve for obtaining citric acid. During descaling, the citric acid, thanks to its acidic property, acts upon the precipitated limescale, dissolving it again by releasing carbon dioxide.
Dosage:
Use undiluted on fittings, tiles, toilets – where the Decalcifier cannot be heated – allow it to act for a few minutes, depending on the thickness of the limescale, then thoroughly rinse off with clear water.
Use diluted
for cleaning kitchen appliances (kettles, coffee machines). The effect of the tool is more effective when heated.
Add about 100 ml of descaler and 0.5 l of water to the kettle, heat to 60 °C, let the mixture work for 20 - 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Kettles
Add approx. 100 ml (3.5 fl oz US) of Decalcifier to 0.5 litre (17 fl oz US) of water, heat up to approx. 60 °C (140 °F) , allow it to act for 20–30 minutes, then rinse off thoroughly.
Coffee machines
Add 200 ml of descaling agent and 800 ml of water to the container. When cleaning the equipment, follow the instructions given by the machine manufacturer. Rinse until the water runs clear.
In 4.5 kg washing machine
add 1 L of detergent to the detergent drawer, let the machine run empty at 60 °C. Clean the washing machine filter.
Dishwasher
Add 1 L of detergent to the machine and let the machine run on the longest program.
Biodegradability
Citric acid is a constituent of plant, animal and human organisms, and is therefore rapidly and completely degraded into carbon dioxide and water by naturally present microorganisms.
Suitable for septic tanks and filtration systems.
