Origin of Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a complex healing system that originated in India thousands of years ago. Historical evidence of Ayurveda can be found in the ancient scriptures of Hinduism, the Vedas. Rig Veda mentioned more than 60 preparations that could be used to alleviate or get rid of various health ailments. The Rig Veda was written down more than 6,000 years ago, but the knowledge of Ayurveda is actually even older. Ayurveda is more than just a system of medicine. It is the science of life. We are all part of nature. Just as animals and plants live in harmony with nature and use the laws of nature to create health and balance, we obey the same principles. So it can be said that Ayurveda is a system that helps to maintain health and get back to your true self and balance by using the laws of nature. Basically, Ayurveda has existed since the beginning of time, because we have always been guided by the laws of nature.
Body, mind and senses
Soul
Ayurveda also takes care that before we exist in physical form with the help of body and mind, we also exist in spiritual form. The ancient Indian prophets believed that man is made up of a certain energetic essence. They were of the opinion that over time we are in different physical bodies, but our essence or soul remains unchanged. This concept is illustrated by what happens at the moment of death. As a person approaches the moment when he leaves his physical body, many of his desires and desires cease to exist. Since the soul no longer identifies with the body, the desire to eat or do something that used to bring great joy and satisfaction becomes insignificant. Facts have been documented where the feeling of being "out of body" has been experienced.
These are just a few examples of how we are made up of these four components above that we call life.
The understanding that we are all unique allows Ayurveda not only to address specific health problems, but also to provide an explanation for why one person reacts in one way and another in another. We hope that you will continue your Ayurvedic journey through which your health will improve and you will gain new knowledge about this miracle we call life.
