In severe magnesium deficiency, there is a low level of calcium in the blood (hypocalcemia). Magnesium deficiency is also associated with low levels of potassium in the blood (hypokalemia). The level of magnesium decreases at night, therefore there is poor REM sleep (eyes move quickly during sleep), the person cannot get a good night's sleep.

 

Headaches, blurred vision, mouth ulcers, fatigue and anxiety are also early signs of magnesium deficiency.

We hear how heart disease is number one in the world and that high blood pressure is the so-called silent killer, the lives of citizens and families are disrupted because they have diabetes, Alzheimer's disease and many other chronic diseases.

 

Symptoms of severe magnesium deficiency are:

  1. Intense thirst
  2. Extreme hunger
  3. Frequent urination
  4. Sores and scratches heal slowly
  5. The skin is dry and itchy
  6. Unexplained weight loss
  7. Blurred vision that changes daily
  8. Unusual tiredness and sleepiness
  9. Tingling or numbness in the legs and arms
  10. Frequent or recurring fungal infections of the skin, gums, bladder and vagina
Aren't these signs of diabetes?

The body reacts to diabetes with frequent urination. The body tries to get rid of excess blood sugar. Excessive urination causes thirst. We need to understand what causes such disharmony. We need to find the root cause. The body has to excrete glucose as insulin resistance increases and this in turn is directly caused by a lack of magnesium, which causes the body to be toxic and tissues to be damaged.

 

When a diabetic has too much blood sugar, the body starts producing ketones, which are a byproduct of breaking down body fat. This in turn creates acidity in the blood, which manifests as blood acidosis, which in turn leads to diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Such a condition is very dangerous and can lead to coma and death. This condition is also called “diabetic acidosis”, “ketoacidosis” or “diabetic coma”. DKA is a common new diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. If the patient does not seek help, he may die from DKA.

Oral magnesium reduces red blood cell dehydration. Thus, optimal electrolyte balance is required to maintain adequate hydration.
