Natural products mean the healthiest lifestyle, which in turn means a healthier body and mind. In addition, nature-friendly production, i.e. organic farming, requires less energy and produces less waste than other technologies, so it is also friendlier to the environment.
By eating natural food, using natural remedies and clean cosmetics, we can increase the quality of our life, reduce the toxic load, and supply our body with the necessary nutrients. All this together improves the overall well-being of a person.
We all know very well that we get toxic substances from air, water and food, but we rarely think of cosmetic products used for beauty and health as toxic things. However, many cosmetics contain toxic ingredients and additives that can cause headaches and mood swings or trigger asthma and eczema.
We usually think of the skin as a shell around us, but the skin and its appearance is like a health barometer. This means that all facial care begins with the food we eat, the liquids we drink, the air we breathe and the cosmetics we use. The skin needs tenderness and love, daily care with high-quality active ingredients. This is important because everyday cosmetics increase the amount of toxins in our body and this in turn has a bad effect on health.
Organic is always best for both internal and external use. Our skin absorbs everything we put on it. By applying toxins to the skin, the skin also absorbs them. The herbs and plant parts in organic skin care products are grown without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers and contain higher levels of nutrients than non-organic ones. It is necessary for the skin to be well nourished and look healthy and beautiful. The skin needs specific nutrients. In addition to water and oxygen, antioxidants and lipids are necessary substances for skin renewal.
INTERNAL SKIN CARE
Vital nutrients such as fatty acids and B-group vitamins help to maintain skin elasticity, skin cells to regenerate and reproduce, and skin to work as part of the body.
Essential fatty acids are the building material of lipids, or fats, which protect skin cells. Essential fatty acids allow cells to multiply and heal. Found in fatty fish (tuna and salmon), pumpkin and sunflower seeds, walnuts.
B-complex vitamins are essential for the body's fat and protein metabolism and for protection from harmful sun rays. Found in asparagus, green leafy vegetables, eggs, milk, watercress.
Methylsulfonylamine is a sulfur-like complex found in plants and animals that cleanses the body of waste and toxins, heals inflammation, and nourishes the skin. Found in cucumber, fennel, garlic, onion, radish, fresh fruits.
ANTIOXIDANTS
Bioflavonoids - protect cells, improve immunity and reduce inflammation. They are found in blueberry, cranberry, grapefruit, green tea, pine bark extract.
Alpha-linoleic acid is an antioxidant that enhances the effects of vitamins C and E and stimulates the liver to produce the antioxidant glutadione. Alpha-linoleic acid, being both water and fat soluble, is able to protect the entire cell. When applied to the skin, it acts not only as an antioxidant but also as a skin tightener, supporting the mechanism of collagen production. Alpha linoleic acid enhances the antioxidant effect of vitamins C and E in the body.
Vitamin A and other carotenoids improve the division of skin cells, thus accelerating skin renewal. They are excellent for improving the signs of aging caused by the sun. Based on research, it has been found that they activate the growth of fibroblasts (cells that help produce connective tissue), improve collagen synthesis and prevent its breakdown. Products containing rosehip seed oil are rich in vitamin A and carotenoids. Rosehip seed oil is also rich in essential fatty acids, which the skin needs to retain moisture as it ages.
Also found in brightly colored fruits and vegetables, including carrots, red pepper, sweet potato, muskmelon, mango, egg, kale, spinach.
Selenium protects the skin and is part of the enzyme glutadione peroxidase, protects the body from hyperacidity. Found in eggs, legumes, grains, nuts (especially Brazil nuts), oats, tuna
Vitamin C is one of the most powerful and effective antioxidants, and vitamin C also plays a key role in collagen production, as it ensures skin elasticity. When applied to the skin, vitamin C helps reduce inflammation, wrinkles and unwanted pigment spots. Ester vitamin C (a fat-soluble form of vitamin C) is very important from the point of view of skin care, because it protects the entire cell, reduces any inflammation and regenerates vitamin E, which we need to protect elastic tissues from hyperacidity. But before using vitamin C cream, consult your doctor, beautician or dermatologist, because vitamin C itself is an acid (ascorbic acid) and its overdose can damage the skin, causing a chemical burn. Found in broccoli, cabbage, citrus fruits, red pepper, kiwi.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, protects lipids from oxidation. Found in avocado, cereals (especially wheat), herring, nuts, pine nuts
Zinc is an important mineral that helps regulate sebum production in cells and repairs tissues. The skin needs it for protein synthesis and collagen production. Found in eggs, lentils, peas, red meat, shellfish and spinach.
Too dry or oily skin can be a sign of insufficient skin care, but it can also be a sign of health problems. Dry skin can indicate a lack of water in the body, as well as the fact that the cells of the top layer of the skin need to be nourished (a lack of proteins to form intercellular connections). Both dry and oily skin can be a sign of hormonal imbalance. Detox is an important body strengthener and skin balancer and oxygenator. By giving the skin the right nutrients (which was discussed above), the skin becomes bright and fresh.
