Savon de Marseille natural soap with coconut milk 100g

All Le Chatelard 1802 Savon de Marseille soaps are handmade in the Le Chatelard workshop. Auban sur Ouvèze, Provence (France). Thanks to a neutral pH formula that does not dry out the skin, these soaps provide intense hydration and softness. Delicately scented with flowers, fruits and other natural ingredients, they are great for lathering, nourishing, moisturizing and perfuming the skin.

This 100% natural soap is traditionally made by mixing Mediterranean seawater, olive oil or other vegetable oils and alkaline chemicals soda (sodium carbonate) and lye (sodium hydroxide) in a large boiler.

This mixture is then heated with constant stirring for several days. The mixture is allowed to stand until ready, then poured into a mold and allowed to harden slightly. Still soft, cut into strips, pressed and allowed to harden completely. The whole process can take up to a month.

How to use: Use daily in the shower or bath. Apply soap and massage gently before rinsing with clean water.
