The rose in the Weleda Rose range is also called rosehip. It is a species that grows wild on bare, barren soil in the Andes Mountains in Chile. Rosehip is a flower that grows well in cool and rainy areas. Its branches and shoots are covered with sharp thorns, and its flowers are white or pink, sometimes yellow. It is from rose hip seeds that the valuable musk rose oil is extracted. The oil is extracted by cold pressing and later used in Weleda skin care products.

Rose hip oil is full of essential fatty acids that help strengthen the skin and improve its protective properties. Rosehip oil has also traditionally been used to reduce scar tissue and pigmentation and to stimulate skin cell growth. Wild Rose Day Cream is an invigorating and nutrient-rich day cream that makes the skin soft and comfortable. Invigorating rosehip seed oil and peach seed oil promote cell renewal and strengthen the skin's resistance to external influences, which can otherwise cause pigment changes, fatigue and the appearance of fine lines on the skin. The extract of field grass, myrrh and cock's brush extract has a firming effect and strengthens the connective tissue. Also contains natural essential oils from roses for a soft and wonderful fragrance. The skin feels soft and healthy and acquires a radiant complexion.

Usage: Use in the morning after cleansing and using face water. Apply to the face, neck and décolletage when the skin is still slightly damp from using the face wash.
