What do these substances do?

Аmalaki (amla, Indian gooseberry, Emblica Myrabolan): improves the work of lungs, liver, digestive tract and heart, strengthens immunity. Aml has a sour taste that corresponds to pitta dosha and the element of fire in Ayurvedic medicine. Amla is rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, carotenoids and vitamin C. Amla's vitamin C content is higher than other plants - 20 times that of an orange. At the same time, amla is found in the form of vitamin C, which can withstand time and high temperatures; this is due to the presence of special tannins in the fruit, which bind vitamin C and prevent its breakdown. Amalaki cleans the oral cavity, strengthens the teeth, promotes the growth of hair and nails. Effective for hair loss.

Haritaki (harada, Terminalia Chebula): It corresponds to the vata dosha and the elements of air and ether. One of the most important plants in Ayurveda. Eliminates vata dosha imbalance in the body and regulates kapha dosha. Haritaki fruits are usually harvested in spring when they are particularly rich in tannins, amino acids, fructose, succinic acid and beta-sitosterol. One of the numerous studies has revealed the antispasmodic properties of haritak, which, along with reducing high blood pressure, relieves gastrointestinal cramps. This confirms the effectiveness of bathing in heart disease, spastic colitis and other gastrointestinal diseases. Nourishes brain and nervous system tissue, cleans mucous membranes and membranes. Strengthens voice and vision. Haritaki increases intellect and adds wisdom.

Bibhitaki (Beleric Myrabolan): balances kapha dosha. Effective in fighting and preventing heart, lung and liver diseases. Affects the respiratory system, excretory organs and the nervous system. It is also a lung tonic. Improves vision and voice. It has both a laxative and astringent effect, cleanses the intestines and improves tone, removes parasites from the body, strengthens and tones the stomach. Studies of bibhitak fruits showed their high fat (35%) and protein (40%) content. Bibhitaki oil with a special sweet aroma contains 35% palm oil, 24% oleic acid and 31% linolenic acid; the latter is a fatty acid that is necessary to increase the level of high-density lipoprotein (corresponds to the healthy state of the body) and to decrease the level of low-density lipoprotein (causes atherosclerosis).
